Sony komt ook met Tablet!

Sony is van plan een tablet op de markt te brengen die de strijd aan moet gaan met de iPad van Apple. Volgens financieel directeur Nobuyuki Oneda heeft Sony daarvoor de technologie in huis.

"[Slates are] a market we are also very interested in. We are confident we have the skills to create a product...Time-wise we are a little behind the iPad but it's a space we would like to be an active player in."

Net als veel andere bedrijven ziet dus ook Sony wel wat in de markt van de tablets. Nu zijn ze echter niet het eerste wat wel het geval was in de markt van de eReaders. Deze markt is nog steeds flink groeiend en steeds meer spelers als Samsung, Google,  Amazon begeven zich op deze markt.

Wanneer Sony op de markt komt is nog niet bekend. Nobuyuki gaf toe een achterstand te hebben opgelopen ten opzichte van de iPad.
